TreeBidly is operated by TreeScale Agency LLC. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

1. What We Collect

Account info: Email address, name, city, state, country, and password (hashed — we never see your actual password).
Estimates & settings: The estimates you create, your branding/company info, and input preferences. This is synced to our servers so you can access it across devices.
Voice recordings: When you use the voice-to-estimate feature, your audio is sent to our AI provider for transcription and processing. Recordings are not stored on our servers after processing.
Usage data: Basic usage counts (estimates created per month/day) for plan enforcement. We do not track your browsing behavior or use analytics cookies.
Payment info: If you subscribe to Pro, payment is handled by Stripe. We never see or store your credit card number.

2. How We Use Your Data

To provide the TreeBidly service — creating, storing, and syncing your estimates.
To process voice recordings into estimates via our AI provider.
To manage your account, subscription, and usage limits.
To send important account emails (password resets, billing notices, major service changes). We don't send marketing emails.
Aggregated insights: We may use anonymized, aggregated data (such as average service pricing by region) to publish industry benchmarks and improve the product. This data is stripped of all personally identifiable information — no one can trace it back to you, your company, or your clients.

2a. AI-Assisted Estimates

TreeBidly uses artificial intelligence (provided by Anthropic's Claude) to help generate estimate descriptions from your voice recordings. Here's what you should know:

Your recordings and transcript text are sent to Anthropic for processing. Anthropic does not use your data to train their AI models.
AI-generated estimates are starting points — you review and edit every estimate before sending it to a client.
We do not access, read, or review your individual estimates. Your estimate data is yours.

3. Who We Share Data With

Supabase: Database hosting and authentication (your account and estimate data).
Anthropic (Claude AI): Voice transcriptions and estimate generation. Subject to their data processing terms — they do not use your data for training.
Stripe: Payment processing for Pro subscriptions.

We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with advertisers. We only share what's necessary to provide the service.

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on Supabase servers with row-level security — only you can access your own data. All data is transmitted over HTTPS. The app also caches data locally on your device for offline access.

5. Your Rights

Access: You can view all your data in the app at any time.
Export: You can export individual estimates as PDFs.
Delete: You can delete individual estimates. For full account deletion, email us at the address below.
Correction: You can edit your account info and estimates at any time.

6. Cookies

TreeBidly uses only essential cookies for authentication (keeping you logged in). We do not use tracking cookies, analytics cookies, or advertising cookies.

7. Data Retention

Your data is kept as long as your account is active. If you cancel your account, data is retained for 30 days (in case you change your mind), then permanently deleted. Voice recordings are processed in real-time and not stored after estimate generation.

8. Children

TreeBidly is a business tool for professionals. It is not intended for anyone under 18.

9. Changes

We may update this policy as our service evolves. We'll notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notice.
